About Me: Cultivating Sustainable Beauty and Wellness, One Garden at a Time

As a certified professional in various aspects of sustainable horticulture, gardening, and floral design, I believe that nurturing green spaces not only enhances mental well-being but also contributes to the vitality of communities.

The transformative experience of becoming a mother and discovering my own neurodivergence led me to rediscover the beauty and healing power of nature through gardening. This personal journey not only improved my mental wellness, it inspired me to advocate for the reintegration of nature into everyday life.

I am deeply driven by a passion for community-run food security, and am committed to empowering individuals to cultivate their own sustainable food and medicinal sources while creating biodiverse habitats for pollinators and wildlife. These postage stamps of habitats that we create are essential to the balance of our ecosystem. Our gardens provide so much that we are usually unaware of!

Ultimately, I aim to inspire everyone to reconnect with themselves and their loved ones through their natural environment; and play a role in creating a more sustainable and biodiverse world.

I believe collaboration is an important part of this work so I regularly team up with other local flower growers and sustainable landscape designers to source plants and work on each others projects together.

I proudly work for Mill St. Produce at Mayneland Farm and highly recommend coming to our farmstand for fresh produce, cottage foods, local honey, slow grown flowers, and our NEW U-Pick Strawberry Field! Sign up for our 2nd Winter CSA Subscription starts this summer! It was a major success last year and we are all very excited to be able to have one again this season.
